


Matteo Gavazzi Borella began working as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 following his enrolment with the Milan Register of Accountants.
He is registered with the Milan branch of the Italian Accounting Profession and the register of Certified Auditors.
Matteo was secretary for the Milan Register of Accountants from 2001 to 2007 and was a member of the Board of the Milan branch of the Italian Accounting Profession from 2008 to 2011. He was appointed to the Board once more in 2017.
As a member of the Board of the Milan branch of the Italian Accounting Profession, Matteo was assigned proxies to the Corporate Governance and Accounting Standards commissions.
As part of the activities performed for his category, Matteo was a member of the committee of delegates to the National Pension Fund for Accountants from 2000 to 2014.
Matteo’s field of expertise is providing consultancy in corporate, commercial, tax, and labour issues.
He currently sits on numerous Boards of Directors and Boards of Statutory Auditors, as well as being an Independent Auditor.
Pietro Bottani has been enrolled with the Register of Accountants since 1994 and has been Managing Director of various industrial and financial companies.
After graduating from university, he completed a specialisation course in “Financial Institutions for Small and Medium Enterprises” at Harvard University.
From 2007 to 2010, Pietro was a sessional lecturer for the Corporate Finance course of the Faculty of Engineering Management at the University of Florence.
From 2011 to 2016, he was a sessional lecturer at the ESE European School of Economics, teaching the Risk Management course held in English.
Since 2016, Pietro has worked as a tutor in the Department of Economic-Corporate Sciences and Economic Law at the University of Milan-Bicocca.
Pietro gives lectures in Corporate Finance at the Business Administration Masters of the University of Milan-Bicocca.
He regularly writes articles on Administration and Finance published by IPSOA, dealing with corporate finance issues.
Pietro’s field of expertise is mainly focused on corporate finance and insolvency proceedings.
Studio Gavazzi Borella avails itself of the collaboration of the service company Auditing & Data Processing S.r.l. which is tightly integrated into the structure.
The Studio is comprised of five professionals, four of whom are registered with the Italian Accounting Profession and one with the Register of Labour Consultants, along with 15 members of staff.
